Akilesh Bapu is co-founder, CEO at DeepScribe, the leading ambient intelligence provider for healthcare organizations that streamlines workflows, reduces the administrative burden, and enhances patient outcomes. He founded DeepScribe in 2017, after seeing his father, an Oncologist, spend 3 hours a day documenting his patient visits. Today, DeepScribe has helped thousands of clinicians automate documentation, been used in 3+ million healthcare conversations, and integrated into leading healthcare organizations such as Ochsner Health, Texas Oncology, and WellBe Senior Medical. Prior to DeepScribe, Akilesh was a research scientist at BAIR, Berkeley’s AI Research Lab.

A: Healthcare is currently in a ultra-rare transformational moment and we have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be able to define how healthcare is practiced in an AI-first world.
