Q: What motivates you to continue working towards change each day?

A: As a queer Black woman and public health social worker, I've experienced the systemic inequalities in healthcare firsthand. My own troubling experience with an HPV diagnosis and the lack of empathetic care propelled me to fight for better.

Q: What accomplishment(s) are you most proud of from 2023?

A: In 2023, my proudest moment was rallying 100+ Black women for educational sexual health events co-led by OBGYNs and health practitioners, and providing resources amid policies restricting bodily autonomy.
