Greta McAnany is a VC backed entrepreneur (Amazon, Bumble, Serena Williams, Mozilla) + empath with media roots who believes innovation should serve our most human needs. She has spent the last 12+ years working at the intersection of media, mental health and technology, building consumer products with a youth focus. Currently, she is building toward a future with more humane technology through the company she co-founded where she currently serves as CEO, Blue Fever. Blue Fever has supported over 1 million people and is a front door mental health solution and navigation tool that provides a bridge between the mental health needs of Gen Z/Alpha and the resources that can best support them.
Q: What motivates you to continue working towards change each day?
A: Seeing the clear potential path to a win-win scenario with some of the world’s biggest challenges. There are many scenarios that can be financial and social win-wins. The work of creative/strategic problem solving towards this win-win energizes me!
Q: What accomplishment(s) are you most proud of from 2023?
A: Our launch of the first ever evidence based peer mental health AI "Blue" who provides a safe, place for young people to express themselves & get positive, mental health guidance. 95% of users say they trust Blue to support them.
